Mystic Morning: Honor Your Sacred Femme

Join Woven Psyche, Alison Waldman and Aislinn Kercheart of Nurtured Earth Healing at the ethereal Common Room Studio in Alexandria, VA for a half-day retreat honoring your inner divine femininity.  Retreat activities will include:

Beginner’s Tarot Workshop
Sunday, January 20 – Dupont Circle – 11AM to 3 PM

Learn the basics that you need to get started on your tarot journey. In addition to providing interactive exercises and hands on reading experience, this four hour workshop (with 20 minute break) will cover:

  • The underlying history, structure and logic of the Tarot
  • Preparing to perform a tarot reading
  • Going beyond the basic card meanings in tarot books
  • How to apply card meanings in the context of a spread
  • Are tarot spreads even necessary?
  • The roles of imagery and intuition
  • Exercises and resources for further learning

Advanced Tarot Workshop
Sunday, January 27 – Dupont Circle – 11AM to 3PM

In addition to getting a quick review of the basics, students who come to this class already equipped with a beginner level knowledge of tarot will be able to expand their understanding with the following:

  • Intuitive development and guided meditation techniques for “getting in the zone” and bypassing conscious bias during a reading
  • Elements of reading design – Interpreting the querent’s needs, shaping the question, and selecting the right spread
  • Guided practice opportunities to help you develop your own spreads and interpret cards in the context of a spread
  • Group discussion and partner exercises designed to help you connect with your querents and ensure a positive experience
  • Practice tips, ethical considerations and self-care techniques
